1973-1974 Emeryville, Alameda County, California button protesting the November 1, 1973 shooting death of 14-year-old Tyrone Guyton.  Button says, "TYRONE GUYTON had a Right to Live JUSTICE."  Printed in late 1973 or early 1974 to protest Guyton's death, shot by Police officers.  You can research the death of this boy and protests that followed.  Interesting African American / Black cultural protest history.  Button has black letters on a yellow field.
History article indicates the Black Panther Party got involved in the protests against the killing of this youth.
Button measures approximately 1 ¾ inches across.
    It’s in very good condition.
Some oxidation to the metal back of the button.
Pin is there and works fine.
Interesting piece of protest history from the San Francisco Bay Area of California.
