Dexter Screen Used Kill Knife Prop Stunt Original Production TV Showtime COA

Description

This is one of Dexter Morgan's kill knives used to kill Boyd Fowler in season 5 episode 3 on the Showtime TV series Dexter. This particular knife is a screen used chest mount variant.To help create the illusion each of Dexter's kill knives featured 3 to 4 variants. The set typically Included a Hero (real blade), a stunt, a retractable and a chest plate mount. Occasionally there would also be a blood tube variant aswell. This one is the chest plate mount, it would have been used after the retractable knife was used when they needed the knife to stay put on the actor. The handle is fixed to a plastic plate that's held on by two tiny hex bolts. I acquired this directly from one of the art crew members who worked on the entirety of the series.
