Very Fine Miniature Northwest Klickitat Baskets by Master Weaver Elsie Thomas.
I have a pretty good collection of Klickitat baskets by Nettie Kuneki Jackson and Elsie Thomas.
I am having to sell some of my baskets by master weaver Elsie Thomas to make room for my new additions to my collection.
These Elsie Thomas baskets were purchased from a lifetime collector who was friends with Elsie Thomas.
Little baskets were sold for .00 each in the 70's and some of them still have an original tags.
This basket still has a price tag from mid 90's price of and an original price tag of from 1970.
The baskets are in good shape overall with wear. Please see photos as part of description.

Elsie Thomas B1910 ~ 2007 was regarded as best Klickitat basket maker/weaver of her time.
She is also mother in law to another master weaver Nettie Kuneki Jackson.
