Vintage Cup’ik eskimo grass coiled basket made by master doll and basket maker Neva Mathias from Chevak, Alaska. The colored portions are hand colored/dyed seal gut. In excellent condition with no defects. The lid is tight and the knob has no issues. Comes with the original auction tag on the inside and the makers tag listing Mathias.
